Demigod (PC) comes as one of those rare games that are a mixture of the role-playing and real-time strategy building genres. The game involves you being one of the eight demigods, who choose either the forces of light, or the forces of darkness to deliver enchanting spells. There is a lot of mouse-clicking involved, and if you don’t mind the average graphics, then the game might turn out to be pretty addictive for you.
It’s not like Demigod lacks anything; but somehow, all things don’t combine together as well as they should to produce an excellent game. There are enemies whom who attack with your claws, and you can battle these by choosing to be either a solo warrior or an Assassin. Each assassin is unique its own way and has a skill set that no other assassin has. Thus, once you finish the game with one assassin, you will be tempted to play it again in order to discover the skills and powers of the other assassins.
The game also has a system of returning back to the base, every now and then, so that you can make purchases. These purchases enhance your strengths and reduce your weaknesses so that you can take over further battles with even more power. For single players, as such there is no story line to get involved in. It is more of simple aimless game play that does generate good amounts of satisfaction. If you ignore the technical flaws, this game should make a good choice.
